Accurate Electronic Measuring Device
Customer needed a device that would allow for accurate measuring of distance similar to a measuring wheel. Device needed to be user friendly, read measurements in fraction form (not decimal) and a small form factor.
The Process
Arduino Pragraming
Using the Additive Manufacturing (3D printing), digital encoder and a solid Arduino program, we were able to achieve a working prototype that displayed the measured distance in SAE units.
The product or Solution
Digital Measuring Device
This product was a prototype that allowed for accurate measuring for various applications. A quick reset button allowed the user to quickly take several measurements in a matter of seconds!
